Who organises the Awards?

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) organises the Awards annually.

What happened to the Singapore Experience Awards?

Organised by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the Singapore Tourism Awards brings together Singapore’s tourism sector to celebrate individuals and organisations that best deliver exceptional experiences and achieve enterprise excellence. With the repositioning from The Singapore Experience Awards to the Singapore Tourism Awards, the focus extends beyond experience excellence to encompass enterprise excellence. The Awards remains an integral part of STB’s efforts to raise the Singapore tourism sector’s competitiveness by motivating organisations and individuals to create compelling experiences or adopt best practices.

What are the dates I need to know?

Nomination period: 16 January 2017 to 15 January 2018
Shortlisting and judging period: 16 January to 30 April 2018
Announcement of Recipients and Awards Ceremony: May 2018

What do award recipients receive?

Award recipients will be presented with a trophy and certificate at the Awards Presentation Ceremony.

When and where will the Awards ceremony be held?

The 2018 Singapore Tourism Awards Presentation Ceremony will be held in May. The venue may vary each year. This is a by-invitation only event.

How can I participate?

Members of the public are invited to submit their entries in the following categories:


Experience (Leisure/MICE), Enterprise Excellence

How many entries can I submit?

Multiple entries may be submitted. However, repeat or multiple nominations for the same individual or establishment will be considered as only one nomination.

How do I know if my submission was successfully sent through?

An email confirmation with a unique link will be sent to you each time you submit a new entry. For multiple submissions of the same entry, the final version will be used and earlier versions voided.

Nomination as an establishment

Which categories can an establishment enter?

An establishment can be nominated in these main award categories: Experience Excellence (Leisure/MICE) and Enterprise Excellence. Click here to read up on awards eligibility.

How do I nominate a Customer Service Professional of my establishment for an award?

How many entries can I submit?

Experience (Leisure/MICE) / Enterprise

Multiple entries may be submitted for various categories as long as the eligibility and entry requirements are fulfilled.


For example, a hotel that nominates itself for the Best Hotel Experience category may also wish to nominate its in-house restaurant and in-house bar for the Best Dining Experience and Best Nightspot Experience categories, respectively.


Customer Service

Multiple entries may be submitted. However, repeat or multiple nominations for the same individual will be considered as only one nomination.

In what formats can I submit my supporting documents?

File formats of *.jpg, *.pdf, *.png, *.doc , *.docx , *.ppt and *.pptx are accepted.

How can I retrieve my saved entry if I have lost my unique URL?

For assistance, please contact STB_SingaporeTourismAwards@stb.gov.sg or 1800-4AWARDS (4292737).

How do I know if my submission was successfully sent through?

Should you wish to make changes to your entry, please access the entry form using the unique link in the email. For multiple submissions of the same entry, the final version will be used and earlier versions voided.

Judging

Who was on our judging panel for 2017?

Our judging panel comprises Singaporean and overseas representatives who are recognised professionals in their fields. Find out more about our judges at this link.

When will the finalists and recipients be announced?

Finalists will be announced before the Singapore Tourism Awards Presentation Ceremony in May 2018. Recipients will only be announced at the Awards Ceremony itself.
